With life comes joy, stress, worry, sadness, change, and growth. Sometimes balancing life’s challenges can be difficult, but not impossible. We aim to help you regain your life balance by using well-developed therapies in a confidential and safe environment.
Working through life's curveballs is a challenge. Seeking treatment for depression, anxiety and the like can be intimidating especially when you are feeling down, little energy and indecisive. Because you are here, YOU are on the right track! I'm a clinical psychologist with over 10 years of experience helping people with depression and anxiety, and over 12 years working to help those with chronic pain.

Fees
What does it cost?
My standard fee is $250.00for each 50-minute therapy session. I offer a free initial phone consultation for new clients (10 minutes). Reduced fee services are available for Military based on client need. Reduced fee rates are 75% of the standard rate. There are a limited number of reduced fee slots; please call or email to inquire about availability.
Sessions can be scheduled with my psychological assistant, a doctoral trained, Masters prepared assistant, licensed by the CA Board of Psychology. Standard fee is $175.00
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) sessions are formatted to meet the criteria supported by research. For every ketamine session, you must participate in at least one preparation session, one dosing session, and one integration session. These are minimum requirements and only the dosing session is 90 minutes, all others are 50 minutes. Sessions are built and billed as a complete 3 session- package, and fees are $850.00 for each Ketamine dosing package. A separate consent form must be completed for KAP and you are responsible for fees due to Journey Clinical for Medical clearance and ketamine prescription.
Payment is due at the time of service. To avoid a missed appointment fee of the standard rate, cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
Can I Use My Insurance?
Often, health insurance networks manage care based on a financial bottom line, limiting access to care based on diagnosis or limiting number of treatment sessions. This is not the most therapeutic or helpful circumstance to begin your healthcare journey. For this reason, I do not accept insurance. In other words, I am an “out-of-network provider”; however, I can assist you in seeking partial reimbursement for your care by submitting a statement of services or “superbill”. These statements may then be submitted by you for reimbursement directly from your insurance company. For more information, call your insurance provider and ask about your “behavioral health benefits”. Policies vary widely and not all plans will provide reimbursement for an out-of-network provider.
How can I submit a payment?
Most clients have found that the direct pay option is best suited for their needs. There are several advantages to paying for services directly, on an “as you go” basis. The direct pay option ensures your confidentiality, and allows treatment to be guided by clinical issues rather than restrictions and limitations imposed by your insurance provider. I accept Venmo and credit cards.
